In our health-conscious world we are constantly bombarded with the need for keeping our bodies physically fit - exercise is considered to be extremely important to the preservation of good health.

But what about the mind? Research indicates it is equally important to keep the brain active and stimulated if we are to maintain cognitive capabilities as we age.
